web 2.0- What does it really mean?

This video was truly incredible. I think about my grandma with an inkpin and a bottle of ink or sitting at a typewriter where a mistake means the whole document is messed up. Today is so different. I don't know how many times i've already used backspace. The power of web 2.0 allows us to create and then connect. One of my favorite parts of the video was when is said we are teaching the machine. Sometimes I would think of the machine (computer) controling us as users, but after taking this class, I realize that people are in control. We are the ones that make the computers and that decide what we want them to do. It is an incredible concept that is shown very clearly in this video.
